Working in geospatial technologies, color discrimination plays a key role in the cartographic (mapmaking) aspect of my career. For published maps, understanding the differences in what people can perceive visually is important. For example, it is fairly common for men to have hues of color that they have difficulty distinguishing between, such as between blues and greens. I found this article fascinating for learning more about the role that color plays in the survival of birds and bird species. #colorgeek #birdlover #savoringNature
